Free Tour of Hammons Field on Friday Thu, Jan 31 2008
Kick off the Lincoln Day weekend by arriving a little early Friday and touring Hammons Field, home to the Springfield Cardinals. It’s a great opportunity for the young and not so young to enjoy behind the scenes access. The tour begins at 3:00pm on Friday, February 8th from the North entrance to University Plaza.
The Springfield Cardinals represented the Texas Double A League in 2007 as Northern District Champs. Many Springfield Cardinal players have gone on to play for the big club.
There is no cost for the tour, but reservations are required. Please e-mail Cindy Stein (cssgop@sbcglobal.net) indicating your desire to tour Hammons Field along with the number of participants.
